Lawrence "Larry" Min Tam Ching, 88 of Honolulu, HI passed away Sept. 16, 2014 in San Jose, CA. Born in Honolulu, HI. He was a retired aircraft mechanic for Hickam Air Force Base with 30 years of service. He was also a retired custodian from Niu Valley Elementary School and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survived by, Sons, Jeffrey Ching & Daniel (Linda) Ching; daughters, Cynthia (Terry) Kiyama & Debra C. (Glenn) Yoshimura; 7 grandchildren, Nicole, Evan, Natalie, Cory, Scot, Lindsey & Lauren; 4 great grandchildren, Tyler-Anne, Maia, Cynthia & Rylan; brother, Arthur Ching and sister, Lorraine Chang. Visitation 11:30am Thursday (Oct. 2) at Diamond Head Mortuary; services 12:00pm with burial at 12:45pm at Diamond Head Memorial Park.
