Adam Leroy Cambra's Obituary
Adam Leroy Cambra from North Shore, Haleiwa, Hawaii passed away early morning
Thursday August 8, 2019. At age 93.
Adam was the son of Mary Abreu from Portugal and Manuel Cambra from Hawaii.
Adam married Mary Magdalene Correia November 23, 1950, and had a lasting beautiful
relationship with the love of his life for over 60 years. Adam raised 8 children on the
North Shore of Oahu in his first home he bought with Mary.
He worked at Pearl Harbor Naval Ship Yard at Shop 56 for over 36 years.
Adam was a witty, intelligent father, grandfather and great grandfather who was loved, respected and will truly be missed. He was known for his story telling often sharing about his time in the Army Air Corps during World War II after being drafted.
Adam is survived by his sister Doris Baldwin
Daughters : Rosalia Flores, Priscilla (son-in-law Michael) Burgess,
Josephine (son-in- law Taly) Mundo,Theresa (son-in-law Carl) Hess,
Christine (son-in- law Nathan) Kauhi, Mary Medeiros,
Sons : Adam F. Cambra and John W. Cambra.
In total 8 Children, 23 Grand, 41 Great Grand ,1 Great Great Grand Child
Funeral services will be held at 9:30am Thursday August 29, 2019 at Diamond Head Mortuary,
Burial will be at 12:30 pm Located at Diamond Head Memorial Park, Honolulu Hawaii 96816
