Ailao Isaako's Obituary
Ailao Isaako, born in American Samoa to Segia To’o and Pepe Isaako. He is a Fraternal Twin, second oldest child and has 4 siblings. Sister, Siuila, Sister Miliama (Twin),Sister Sina and Brother Amo, stepfather, Apellamo Sulu. The family lived in Kalihi, Oahu. Ailao graduated in 1978 from Farrington High School where he played basketball and football. Ailao was part of the All Star Football Team in High School and holds a record in weight lifting at Farrington. After high school, Ailao attended Allan Hancock Junior College in Santa Maria, CA where he played football. He also made the All Star Team at Allan Hancock. After college, Ailao played arena football for Central Valley Coyotes, Arena Football League. Ailao has two children Sienna & Jordan.
Ailao and Antoinette met at a little league football game in Dec. 2015 and married in June 2016. He has 6 step children, Troy, Angela, Anthony, Katelynn, Kayla & Markphiip and 6 step grandchildren, Iree, Mana, Moku, Jericho, Ellie and Emily. Each day he strived to be the positive role model to all the children in our family.
Ailao worked for Allied Universal Security at the Outrigger Hotels in Waikiki and for The Central Ala Moana - Residential Condos. He was a hardworking man! Very committed to doing his best at work for his family. His family was his motivation in his life.
Ailao loved the beach, picnics, camping and barbecuing. He loved food!! Especially, filipino food. He loved cakes, ice cream, 31 Flavors, chocolate, etc. He loved his fitted hats, Nike shoes, outfits and sports jerseys. He loved rap music, watching sports and the latest movies. His favorite movies were super hero movies, action and Star Wars. He also loved playing video games. He had a childlike heart. Very funny and loved to do impersonations of people.
He loved his friends, he was always forgiving, and he loved life! He was grateful for his new life! He had overcame his adversities and worked hard to changing his life for the better.
Ailao will always be that awesome husband. Very loving, caring and supportive. He always made time for his wife. They went on trips, concerts, movies, restaurants and spent quality time with family. He believed in that saying, “Happy Wife, Happy Life”. LOL…
He will be surely missed by ALL OF US! We THANK YOU ALL for ALL THE SUPPORT AND LOVE that you have poured unto us. It is hard to express the gratitude that we have. It is a overwhelming feeling.
Please join us in celebrating Ailao’s life on Jan. 27, 2023 from 10-2pm and dinner reception at Oahu Veterans Center (Foster Village, Salt Lake) from 5-10pm.
