Alan Hong Woo Leung's Obituary
Alan Hong Woo Leung (梁康湖), 82, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on September 5, 2020. He was a retired civil engineer with the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation. While born and raised in Hong Kong, he spent the war years at his family's home village of Fuxicun (福溪村) just outside of Zhuhai (珠海市). He attended Queen's College for secondary school. In 1960, Alan left Hong Kong for college in Hawaii where he graduated from the University of Hawaii and met his wife. He enjoyed spending time with family, working in the backyard, and playing his harmonica. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; sons, Wayman (Veda), Truman (Elisabeth), daughter Grace (Jud); grandchildren, Malia, Owen, Noah, Coco, Eva, Hosanna, Piper, Stephen, and Matthew. His beloved siblings are George, Peter, Eileen, William, Malvida, Alex, Phyonna, Cevia, and Edward.
