She was born on October 26, 1925 in Mission, British Columbia to parents Tashiro & Yetsu

Alice met Harry K. Fujiyoshi in Tokyo when she was working for the Canadian Consulate and he was in the U.S. Army. They got married in Tokyo on February 18, 1948 and had three children there, Stuart, Melvin and Marsha. In 1953, they all moved back to Honolulu.
Using his connections and contacts from Japan, Harry opened Associated Travel in 1960.
Alice, Stuart, Marsha and Mel all worked together at the travel agency.
Associated Travel provided Alice and Harry many opportunities to travel the world and take numerous cruises. After Harry passed in 2000, Alice continued globe-trotting and cruising with her friends from Dallas, Texas. She also took her granddaughter, Melary on many trips and tours, usually stopping in Las Vegas on the way home.
Alice is preceded in death by son, Stuart, husband Harry, and son-in-law, Nathanial.
She is survived by son, Melvin (Theo); daughter, Marsha Ishido, granddaughter, Melary Fernandez (Tyson); and two great-grandchildren, Kayley and Aiden.
Special thanks to her caregivers, Karen & Chanel Asuncion who provided compassionate and loving
care for Mom from March until she passed in October.
Alice was always smiling; her smile was beautiful, genuine and kind, just as she was as our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Private services were held. No monetary gifts please.
