Amelia T Cetrone's Obituary
Diamond Head Mortuary and Williams Funeral Services is saddened to announce the passing of Amelia T. Cetrone. We are honored to be serving the Cetrone family at this time.
Amelia Theresa Cetrone, 89, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully in her sleep, July 11, 2022, with her
loving niece at her side. She worked as the former executive assistant/administrator to Honolulu real
estate developer Edward Jensen, of Hawaiian Horizon Corp.
Amelia was born in Philadelphia, PA, December 29, 1932. She grew up in a large loving family in the
onetime very “Italian” area of the West Philadelphia Neighborhood of Overbrook.
Always an adventurer, after visiting the newly minted State of Hawaii, Amelia relocated to Waikiki,
Honolulu, Hawaii in 1962.
Working in real estate development 40 plus years, met her beloved Husband, the late Felipe “Phil” V.
Bautista, Jr. Who was the company comptroller.
Early on and all through her retirement, Amelia had interests in real estate property management. She
served in various positions on condominium association boards including Waikiki Imperial and White
Pearl Apartments.
For over 50 years, Amelia worked as a volunteer and board member of Hawaii Association of the Blind.
Amelia was tenacious and competitive throughout her whole life. She and Phil were active in training
for and running in the annual Honolulu Marathon. They ran with a group of friends who called
themselves, “Assorted Nuts”. In fact, she started running in her late 40’s and went on to run in 9
consecutive marathons!
In her latter years, she presided over our family gatherings, regaling us in her life’s stories and
experiences.
Amelia was a special soul who is loved by many and will be missed by all of us who were touched by
her wonderful spirit.
Amelia is predeceased by her Parents, Concetta (nee Miele) and Anthony Carmine Cetrone; her
