Anna Beatrice Yannell's Obituary
Anna Beatrice (Aguiar) Yannell 98, of Honolulu, passed away on Sunday, July 10th of age related causes. She was born in Honolulu on April 8, 1918 and was one of 5 daughters born to Augusta and Antone Aguiar also of Honolulu.
Anna was married to William E. Yannell of Honolulu who preceded her in death in 1992. Anna was a homemaker and a red cross volunteer during WW2. In the late 1960’s she took a job at Watamull’s, Hawaiian Clothing Store in Waikiki, where she worked as a sales clerk until she retired.
She is survived by sons Donald Yannell and Bruce Yannell both of Kaneohe, and daughter Ardith (Yannell) Flynn of Oregon, as well as 7 Grand and 3 Great Grandchildren.
She loved to play the ukulele and sing with friends and family. She loved her garden and spent many hours planting, and caring for her flowers. But most of all, she loved her family and showered them with her love and affection. She will be remembered as a kind, loving and beautiful wife, mother, Grand Mother and and Great Grandmother.
A private graveside service was held for her at Diamond Head Cemetery on July 27th, .
