BENJAMIN WAH CHEE's Obituary
BENJAMIN WAH LIN CHEE89 of Honolulu, passed away Feb. 27, 2012 at Maunalani Nursing Center. Born in Honolulu, he grew up in Moiliili and attended McKinley High School. A World War II Army veteran and retired mechanical engineer, he worked at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard for over 40 yrs. He had earned engineering degrees from the University of Hawaii and Chicago Technical Institute. In retirement, he traveled and was very active in the Chinese community, serving as presi-dent for the See Dai Doo and Ket On Societies and Chung Shan Association. Survived by wife of 63 years, Florence W., sons, Randall B. and Byron K.H. (Kathryn), daughter Rhonda (Pierre) Atlan and grand daughter, Jordan, and sisters Marjorie C. Koczyk of Virginia and Jennie C. Loui, and many nephews and nieces. Buddhist Services, Wednesday March 14th at Diamond Head Memorial Chapel. Visitation from 10:00 am, Service at 11:30 am, burial to follow.
