Bernard Louis Galdeira's Obituary
Bernard Louis Kamamo Cordeiro Galdeira, age 91, died on Thursday,
June 17, 2021 in the comfort of his home of Palolo Valley, Honolulu.
Born on November 25, 1929 to Mary Pualani Naehu and Louis
Cordeiro Galdeira in Honolulu, Oahu. He was the second child of
three (3) full siblings and nine (9) half siblings. Of his first marriage
to the late Lily Pahia, he is survived by four (4) son’s, two (2)
daughters and predeceased by one (1) son. He did not have
children from his second marriage to the late Rose Leong. He is a
1946 Kamehameha Schools graduate, and a former President and
CEO of the fortunately successful B & G Associates. A former Board
President of the Elks Club (Waikiki), and former member of Shriner’s
Children’s Hospital of the Pacific, the Pearl City Country Club, and
the Hawaiian Bowling Club at Waialae, he served his community
well.
Services shall be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2021 at Diamond Head
Memorial Park Chapel, 529 18th Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96813. The
schedule of visitation to be from 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with
services and burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Refreshments to be provided to guest attendees to take but are
advised that food consumption must not occur on premises to
maintain the health and safety of our communities. Memorials may
be made in Bernard Galdeira’s name to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital
of the Pacific. On behalf of the family of our beloved Brother, Father,
Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and 2nd Great Grandfather, we
would like to extend our gratitude to all staff of the Diamond Head
Memorial Park Chapel, nurses, health care providers and caretakers
for their attentiveness and loving care.
