Dearest Gary and Ohana ~
Gary, I am so sorry to learn about Manu's passing, sister Bobbie, called me. :( my tears could not stop, while writing this tribute.
Celeste and I worked at United Airlines together, she was my "older" sister who took care of me. We played many softball games, traveled to Florida to play in a tournament, went to Epcot Center, Disneyland and Universal Studios together. It was always and adventure where ever we went. Manu and Gary would spend countless hours helping me to learn to golf at NewTown Driving Golf Range.
Our relationship was a divine appointment as I believed God placed us together for a reason as we shared many stories together. The comment I remember the fondest is, "I Sus!" dat one... joke joke, laugh laugh. We enjoyed golfing, partying, hanging out, singing, and eating.
Though I didn't see much of Manu over the past years as I live on Maui, we had a sister-relationship that transcends a lifetime. From moving over the years, I don't have any photos of Manu as she was the photographer --- Gary, if you ever find a photo of us, please share it with me.
Sister Manu, I will miss you forever but I know in God's time we will all be with each other. Celeste your love is infectious as your kindness has guided me over the years as both you and Gary's love for each other left an impression of my life. I am forever thankful for you both. I am saddened to not see you on 6/20 and understand the COVID impacts. Know that I love you forever and thank you for being a part of my life.
Love You Always --- Juli Corpuz Patao (Your Forever Sista) with a bat and club in hand :)
