Charles was a dear friend and musical colleague ... he was so kind during my life in Honolulu in the late 1970s. Also enjoyed the privilege of substituting for him at Kawaiaha`o Church, and singing in their choir under Charles' direction. Many warm memories, and much aloha to the Brennan family, from my retirement home in sunny Florida.
Charles, my beloved mentor, so loving, so sad.
