Clement David Paiaina Jr's Obituary
Clement David Paiaina Jr, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 29th. Our beloved Father, Papa, Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend, was born in October of 1937 to Elizabeth and Clement D. Paiaina Sr. Clem Jr graduated from Maryknoll High School in 1955, then entered the National Guard.
He then worked with the Honolulu Fire Department for 30+ years, with notable years as a Rescue Fire Captain. A paddler, coach, and former president of Healani Canoe Club, Clem Jr carried on the legacy of his parents, who were a couple of the founders of Healani. Sharing his aloha came natural as he made sure everyone felt welcomed.
