Dean Richard Amaral Sr.'s Obituary
Dean Richard Amaral Sr., 67, of Kaneohe, passed away on December 27th at Kaiser Hospital. Dean was born on November 20th 1951 to Daniel Sr. & Mona (Jellings) Amaral. He was the youngest of five children and was raised in Nanakuli.
After graduating from Farrington high school in 1969; he joined the Carpenter’s Union and worked hard as a carpenter for more than 25 years. Islands Marketing was fortunate to have him to repair equipment, handle the inventory and help manage their small family business for the last 20 years.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Peggy (Amarino) Amaral; son Dean Amaral Jr. and daughters Sherrie Amaral and Christine Lindsey; grandchildren, Christian, Alexander, Angellina and Devin; brother, Warren Amaral and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a very serious but caring person and loved his family dearly.
He enjoyed watching football, fishing and traveling to Las Vegas and their annual Alaska cruise.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 23rd at the Diamond Head Mortuary chapel. Visitation is at 4:30pm, Service is at 5:30pm.
