Robert, I'll always remember your mom as such a pleasant, cheerful person with a great sense of humor. My last memory of her is at the beginning of senior year when we had to get fitted for graduation. I had trouble putting on the pants and wondered aloud "why?" She and the other mom pointed out the obvious; I had a badonkadonk.
Your mom is such an amazing person, and I know you have equally funny memories of her. You and your family are in my prayers.

I first met Diane when we both worked at the old Gem's Store on Ward Ave. Although we worked in different departments we would try to take a break time together. I always remember her as being a thoughtful, kind and fun person. She even served as a bridesmaid at my wedding. After we both got married we did not see one another for a long time being that we both were raising our children. She would be in my thoughts from time to time. Then one day my sister in law took us to the Feng Shui store in Kapahulu and there she was! I was so happy to see her. We talked and talked and she was still the same thoughtful, kind and fun person I remembered her to be. I was so saddened to hear of her passing. With deepest sympathy to her son Robert, daughter Katherine and sister Debbie. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
