Edward Keng-Oi Eu's Obituary
Mr. Eu was the owner of Universal Motors in Honolulu. He was the sole agent in Hong Kong for General Motors, Buick Limousine, Vauxhall - United Kingdom passenger cars, Bedford Trucks and Buses, Arcadian of Canada, Toyota of Japan, Alfa Romeo of Italy, Mercury of USA and Marine Outboard Motors; in addition Fiat of Italy, Simca of France, Saab of Finland, Subaru of Japan and China International Motors - Fleet of Taxis. He owned Audio Center Hawaii - Ward Warehouse - Mitsubishi, Honolulu Audio Video, Euro Motors Hawaii before selling it to Theo H. Davies. He was a Hawaii Distributor for Mitsubishi. He was a member of the Board of Directors for Bank of Hawaii, Past President of the Honolulu Symphony and Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Trustee for Chaminade University, Member of the Waikiki Rotary Club, the Lay Advisory Board of Chaminade University, Knights of Malta and the Holy Sepuchere.
Survived by wife, Peggy Eu; daughter, Vivien U; 5 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; brothers, Richard and Charles Eu.
