Born on July 20, 1933, Elizabeth was married to George Yangco Sr., her devoted partner in life and love. Together, they built a strong, loving family and shared many unforgettable memories, including frequent trips to Las Vegas, where they found joy in each other's company and created cherished moments.
Elizabeth's zest for life extended beyond her family. She was an avid golfer, proudly part of her cherished golfing club, the Happy Hookers. Whether on the green or off, Elizabeth had a contagious enthusiasm that made every outing special and filled with laughter. Her fellow members will always remember her not just for her skill but for the fun and joy she brought to every game.
Her deep connection to her Buddhist faith was a guiding force in her life. As a devoted member of SGI, Elizabeth found peace, strength, and purpose in her spiritual practice. Her faith gave her the resilience to face life's challenges with grace and to share her wisdom and compassion with those around her.
Known for her boundless generosity, Elizabeth had a heart that knew no limits. She was always willing to lend a hand, whether it was offering a meal, a kind word, a bed to sleep in or even her shirt off her back. Her advice, often given with a wink and a smile, may not have always been asked for, but it was always heartfelt and full of life experience. Her candid wisdom, humor, and care will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
