Forever in Our hearts.
We were long time friends. I defended him in high school when the kids were mean to him. Eric, you left on my birthday, but I consider it a blessing because now God is with you and you are reunited with Hilda,Clyde and all the others who loved you. To the Hawaiian family I've never met, I send my deepest condolences. We were so blessed to have him what time we did. I will miss the phone calls and the laughter, tears and emotions from my friend. I am heartbroken. But I will forever cherish every single memory I have of Eric forever*
I only met Eric a couple of times, but I spoke with Hon the telephone many times. I have recently been made aware of my own cancer scare. Eric, without thinking of his own problems, wanted to talk with me and help me get through this time in my life. That's how generous and caring he was. I will truly miss him.
I went to HS with Eric. He was so smart and always so very kind. I am so sorry to hear abt his passing. Prayers for his family. 😢
Such a sad time for family and all who knew Eric. He was like one of our own here in Dry Ponds. He would come over and play our piano and the one at church. He had such a vivid imagination and would describe the pictures in his mind as he tickled the piano keys. Such a big heart so full of my love. He loved the Lord which was such an a big support during his later days. He is would call Deb when he could to encourage her in her kidney failure while he was worse off with his cancer. He touched so many hearts here in N.C. I wish I had been there when he played the piano for the graduation class at South Caldwell and the entire building of people stood in Ovation in appreciation of his talent. We will never forget the young man who grew up with our kids and lived with his hero Clyde and grandma Hilda.
