Frank Larry Mascoto Sr.'s Obituary
Frank Larry Mascoto, Sr., passed away at the age of 91 in Kapolei on June 7, 2020. Born in Honolulu on September 28, 1928, he was known to most as "Larry."
Larry spent a third of his life (33 years) working for the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard as a driller and welder. Upon retiring in 1985, he worked for another 15 years at Macy's Pearlridge as a custodian.
He was part of the first parishioners at Our Lady of Good Council Church in Pearl City, were he often served as an usher and actually helped to build the rock walls on the property.
Larry is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lorna, his five children, Cynthia (Donald) Chung, Sandra (Rodney) Hashimoto, Cheryl (David) Moats, Frank Mascoto, Jr., Laurie Munoz, and 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Private services were recently held, and Larry was laid to rest in Diamond Head Memorial Park.
