Mr Kaya was my mentor. I owned Dollar Plus in the Waimalu Shopping Plaza. I sold cigarettes there. Mr Kaya asked me if I’m selling cigarettes for a dollar. Mr Kaya told me, I’ll provide you a place where you can sell cigarettes and teach you how to manage it. This is when Cigarettes & Things was born, 14 years ago.
I’m appreciative of the opportunity Mr Kaya provided me.
