Cousin Gwen will forever be one of the kindest, most lovely souls in the whole universe. I still remember writing to her when I was a little girl. My Grampy called her “The Family Historian,” which was a HUGE honor. I actually wanted to be just like her when I grew up. I hope she knew how much my Grams and Gramps adored her, and how proud Grampy always was. She truly was my role model.
When she wrote, she always sent me balloons and stickers, and lots of pictures. She truly was the heart of so much, I can’t even begin describe. To be honest, she was one of my only friends. I wish my health had been better, as I’ve struggled to write, and lost cognitive abilities, along with mobility. Maybe then I could have seen her. There will truly never be another soul like Gwen. She made the world a better place. I would have given anything to have met her. Over 40 years of talking to such an amazing lady, who did so much to brighten this world.
Shine bright in the heavens my dearest cousin. I know you will bring a smile to those who love you, and will forever miss you. I am sure you will bring a smile to all those the souls in need, in the heavens with you.
Thank you sweet Gwen, for being my only friend in the darkest of moments. May God always bless you, those you forever love, always and forever.
