Hatsue Uyehara, 98, of Hawaii Kai, a retired state Department of Education employee, died at home.
She was born in Kaneohe.
She is survived by sons Edwin (Joan) and Lawrence (Lisa); daughters Jane Ushijima, Evangeline (Neil) Shinsato and Judy (Bob) Uyehara; brother George Ige; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
