One of my favorite memories of Tutu Hazel was when she was here in California visiting.. I just remember sitting on the hotel bed and talking about life, love, family, friendships, and God!!! It was so peaceful and serene!!! I love you and will miss you 😘 always!! You were always our angel 😇 on earth!! 🌍
I met Hazel and Francis when I was 14 years old!! They had come to the mainland to visit Gordan(Kai). I hung out with them almost every day. Francis love to go to the race track, Hazel not so much. That began a friendship that lasted for ever. When Emily came over for the summer, we hung out together also. Getting to meet more of her family. When I graduated from high school, my mom and dad sent me to Hawaii for my graduation. I stayed with Hazel and Francis for over a month. 1971 every morning I was woken up by the chica boys singing Jeremiah was a Bull frog. Many trips to Vegas, back to Hawaii in 1977 and 2004. Tried to see Hazel any time she came to the mainland. I have always believed that Hazel had a closer connection with her Higher Power. When I was feeling lost or overwhelmed, or needed prayers for specific things. Where would I go??? To my prayer warrior of course. I always felt better with Hazel’s connection! I always have said to people, you meet Hazel for 5 mins. and you feel like you ‘ve known her all your life. Hazel and Francis are my first daughters godparents, gave my 2nd daughters middle name, and gave a middle name to my first grandson. I always wanted her to be a part of life. When I first heard Hazel passed, my first thought was how lucky God is. That Angel on earth now has her wings. You have left your handprint on my Heart ❤️, and because I knew you I have been changed for Good!! With A lot of Aloha!!! Sandy ( your favorite person on the mainland)
