Henry “Buck” Meahewaole Rogers III
1927-2026
Henry “Buck” Rogers, 99 years old, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026.
“Buck” was born in Honolulu, HI on January 4, 1927, He attended Maryknoll School, then Kamehameha Schools, (Class of 1945) where he met his wife of 51 years, Miriam (deceased). His career as a Field Manager in the Field Engineering Division of IBM took him throughout all the islands as well as Asia and the Pacific. He retired on 4/30/1987 after 40 years and 9 days with the company.
He is survived by his four children Henry (Dianne), Lizbeth “Gigi” Olsten (Bruce, deceased), Elaine “Muffet” Jourdane (Eric Komori), James “Kimo” (Karen), 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and his sister, Beverly Mehau.
A celebration of life will be held from 4-6pm at Diamond Head Memorial Chapel on June 20, 2026. Private burial.
