Hilda Kanae 97, of Kahului, passed away on October 17, 2015 in Kahului. She was born December 9, 1917 in Hilo, Hawaii Island to Joe and Georgina Martines. Hilda was a retired Telephone Operator at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel.
She is survived by sons, Walter (Patricia) and Thomas Jackson; daughter, Gayle (Norman) Kanai Lani; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Georgina Garettson, Frances Gutierrez, Ethel (Manuel) Martinez and Hazel Stammen; predeceased by her first husband, Leo Jackson, her second husband, Hugo Kanae Sr., daughter in law, Mathilde "Tilly"Jackson and sister, Mabel Kauhine which passed away 10 days prior to Hilda's passing.
