Hiram Yoshikazu Tanaka's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we bid our beloved husband, father, and grandfather a fond aloha. Hiram Yoshikazu Tanaka was born on April 19, 1943 and passed away on May 14, 2022. He was 79 years old.
Hiram was honorably discharged from the United States Army, Ordnance Division as a Captain. He retired from the State of Hawaii as the Deputy Insurance Commissioner and from the Hawaii Life and Disability Guaranty Association as their Executive Director. His favorite job was working as a wine clerk at Fujioka's Fine Wine Store in Market City.
He is survived by wife, Adele (Torii); sons, Brant (Joy) and Robb (Robyn). He was most joyful being with his treasured grandchildren: Reece, Keene, Reynn, and Abby. He is also survived by siblings Francis, Sharlene, and Stanley.
Private services will be held at a later date.
