Howard Tamotsu Uyeda, 73, of Honolulu, a retired Hawaiian Dredging Co. foreman and an U. S. Air Force veteran , died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Carol M.: daughter Debbie Uyeda Taira; son Craig (Nancy); brothers Walter (Janice), Robert (Florence) and Lawrence (Patsy); sisters Shirley Yabu, Martha Paull and Jane Uyeda; grandchildren, Andrew Taira, Charelle, Corey and Colten. Visitation 10:00 a.m. Saturday (6/09) Diamond Head Mortuary; service 11:00 a.m. Inurnment 9:30 a.m. Monday (6/11) National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Aloha attire.
