Jacqueline Hope Ward's Obituary
Jacqueline Hope Ward, 95, of Honolulu, HI, passed away October 29, 2014. Born in New York City, NY. She was a retired dancer & choreographer, radio reporter, music theater and opera promoter. Founder of Hawaii Public Radio. She served on the Kaimuki Neighborhood board and ran Ward's rafters, A private musical theater loft. She was a recreational specialist for the City & County of Honolulu and set up the Great Hawaiian Jubilees Renassiance Fairs and started the Honolulu 700 summer performance series, she was also the founder of the Hawaii Orchestra Chamber society. SHe is survived by sons, Laurence (Evelyn) Ward and Norman (Susan) Ward; 1 Granddaughter, Paola Ward, brother Bobby Rippen and half brother, Eugene Rippen.
Visitation 10:30am to 1:30 pm Saturday (Nov. 22) at Diamond Head Mortuary; no formal services
