Jane Baldovi Nikaido's Obituary
Jane Baldovi Nikaido, 81, of Hawaii Kai died at home on December 24, 2013. Born in Haiku, Maui on November 10, 1932. She is a 1954 graduate of Iowa State Teachers College and retired English, Yearbook and Journalism teacher at Kalani High School. She is survived by her husband, George M.; sons, Mark H. (Allison) and Keith S.(Gay) Nikaido; Daughters, Lynne N. (Noel) Torigoe, and Caryn M. N. Hashimoto; Brothers, James (Edith) and Silvestre (Patricia) Baldovi; Sisters, Ramona (Benjamin) Aguirre, Mary Ayres and Rita(Arnie) Nordquist; Grandchildren, Chad Nikaido, Leia (Thomas) Robertson, Whitney (Jess) Smith, Marisa Torigoe, Easton Torigoe, Joey Torigoe, Jake Torigoe, Davin Nikaido, Aaron Yoshimura, Nathan Yoshimura, and Nolan Yoshimura; and great-grandchild, Lincoln Robertson. She was preceded in death by her grandchild Jared Nikaido and her brother Louis Baldovi.
Services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel. Visitation 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. and service at 10:30 a.m. Luncheon to follow.
