Joe was born in Honolulu, HI to Mitsutaro and Asayo (Sasaki) Mochizuki. He served in the U.S. Army, which included serving our country in the Korean War. Joe was a prolific diver and shared many of his diving adventures. A favorite pastime was guessing which college and pro football teams would win or lose during the season. Joe also enjoyed cooking for the family and he prepared a variety of tasty dishes that many can attest to.
Most of all Joe loved and cared for his family unconditionally. He embodied the true spirit of aloha, and welcomed all who entered his home with a warm smile and gracious hospitality. He was one of a kind who was loved and respected. Fond memories of our Dad/Papa will forever live in our hearts.
