Wong, Judith's Obituary
Judith Wong, 95, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026 at The Queens Medical Center.
Judith “Judy” Wong grew up in Kaimuki with her three sisters, and graduated from Roosevelt High School. After receiving a teaching degree from Michigan State University (MSU), Judy taught elementary grades at several schools before settling in as a kindergarten teacher at Kahala Elementary where she taught for the remainder of her 30+ year career.
After retiring from teaching, Judy began working at the Wong family business, The Lynch Company. Judy enjoyed watching sports, traveling abroad to Asia and Europe, and playing canasta at family gatherings.
A beloved mother and grandmother, Judy is survived by son Harold Weyland, daughter-in-law Sandra, grandson Micah, sisters Connie “DD” Ko and Meredith Ching, and predeceased by husband Harold K.C. and sister Annabelle Fong.
Services will be held at the Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel on May 29, 2026. Visitation at 8:30am with services to follow.
