My sympathy to her love Alan and her sister she loved dearly. I know that because she told me so! She was so mucn fun to work with and she knew every member by name and all their individual likes and dislikes. She was a master of organizing seating especially for the large holidays! I had the honor of being a fellow host with Karen at the host stand. From the beginning, she treated me like one of her own. Karen always knew when something was wrong and always found a way to make me laugh and smile my worries always. She was always a cheerleader in my life, from work to my schooling to just the small things that were happening. She was always there to tell me "You got this girl!" Her smiles and positivity lit up any one she would come across. I learned from Karen on how to always see the bright side of things, how to always be confident, to always believing in myself and what I have to offer in life. I had the pleasure of knowing, loving and sharing a small piece of KT's life. I owned a small shop outside of Waikiki, and KT was a part of running it. On the way to her daily Diamond Head walks, she would stop, to talk story, and for me to braid her thick lovely hair,always finished off with a plumeria blossom.Mere words cannot discribe how much I will miss Karen. Entering a room,she radiated pure sunshine and joy. Her love for Alan and his devotion to her are something books are written and movies are made of. Go rest my friend,you deserve it.
