Lurline Kehaulani Choy's Obituary
Lurline Kehaulani Choy (née Conner), 80, of Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026.
Born on June 15, 1946, in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, she was the beloved daughter of the late Edward A. Conner and Thelma Conner (née Ne).
Lurline devoted her career to education and retired as a respected educator from Sacred Hearts Academy, where she touched the lives of countless students through her dedication, compassion, and commitment to learning. She was admired by colleagues, cherished by her students, and remembered for the positive influence she had on all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Choy; and her sisters, Beverly H. Young and Josephine Conner. Lurline will be fondly remembered by her family, friends, former students, and all whose lives were enriched by her kindness and gentle spirit.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel.
Lurline's legacy of love, service, and dedication to education will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
