Lydia R. Lau's Obituary
Lydia Roman Lau went to her eternal reward on June 1, 2022 at her home. She was born in Aiea, Oahu and was the second to the youngest child of seven children. She was retired from many jobs, most notable was at the former Woolworth store in downtown Honolulu in the food service department and the last was as a dorm mother, for the then, St. Francis Nursing Program housing for nurses in training. Her husband, William D. H. Lau preceded her in death in 2004, her grandson, Andrew K. Lau, in 2004, and her son, Ronald E. Lau in 2021. She is survived by her daughter, Sister Brenda Lau, a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet, a grandson, Michael K. Lau, a Great Grandson, Andrew John Lau and her Daughter-In-Law, Tisha Stokes Lau, and two Sister-in-laws, Mabel Lau Chock and Edwina C Lau and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at St. Peter of Paul Church on Thursday, July 14, 2022. Visitation: 8:45am Eulogy: 9:20am Reception: 11:00am Burial to follow at 12:30pm at Diamond Head Mortuary.
