Deeply saddened by Martita no longer with us. She was a patient, kind and loving woman with a big heart and always there for her family, and most recently Kaiyan and Kastle. She was always positive and smiling, and she was selfless till the last day of her life. We miss her.
Our Hawaii Mom, Martha
Martha has been there for us like family from day one. She was our go-to emergency contact for Mirae’s school and for me at work — always ready to help without hesitation. She made sure we never felt alone, inviting us to all the special days and treating us like her own. Truly our guardian angel in Hawaii. We love you, Martha!
The mother is the center of the family and I'm thinking of you at this time as you celebrate the center of your world-the life of Martita. Martha was my first principal on Saipan and encouraged my personal and professional development. The happy memories you shared may carry you through some of the dark days ahead, and your beautiful grandchildren will be a constant reminder of her spirit.
Memories shared with Margarita, Martha and George.

A Tribute to Ms. Martha Haberman,
My cherished friendship with Martha Haberman began in 1978, the year she moved to Saipan. Our paths crossed at the Camacho's Store operated by my parents, where she stopped by with her young daughter Christianna. From the moment we met, Martha and I connected deeply and our special bond had flourished ever since.
Martha was one of the most remarkable individuals I've ever had the privilege to know. Her character was exceptional, and her personal qualities truly outstanding. She embodied sweetness, care and unwavering support. She was a great listener, a collaborative team player, and someone with impeccable work ethics and a positive outlook on life. Her boundless energy was magnetic, it drew people together and brought out the beauty in everyone. As my colleague in education, she inspired me to further my studies, and we both dedicated evenings and summer to attending college extension courses.
Martha was more than just a friend to me; she was family. My children adored her and regarded her no less than family also. Her warmth, trustworthiness, and genuine love formed a unique and irreplaceable connection. Martha's children and mine grew up side by side, fostering a lifelong family friendship that remains to this day. Her presence was a gift to all who knew her.
Martha's legacy is monumental, leaving an indelible mark on both the educational system and the community of Saipan. As an elementary teacher and later as a school administrator, she initiated and championed the island's first and only Gifted and Talented Program at PSS. Her dedication extended to extra curricular activities like the CNMI Girl Scouts, where she nurtured and inspired countless lives. Her leadership and vision encouraged many to pursue careers in teaching perpetuating her passion for education.
Though Martha is no longer with us, her memory will be forever etched in my heart. I will miss her deeply but take great comfort in knowing her kindest influence, and spirt will live on.
Rest in peace my dear friend. You will always be remembered.
Margarita
Our deepest condolences to each and everyone in the family. Martha always had a smile on her face and was the epitome of kindness and grace.
One of my first memories of Martha was meeting her in her island home with baby Valentina on her lap as she sat on her hanging chair rocking Valentina in her long flowered dress. A beautiful woman inside and out. 🌼
My heart is heavy as we say goodbye to a beloved educator from our former Tanapag Elementary School. More than a teacher, she was a guiding light— nurturing young minds, uplifting spirits and touching hearts with quiet strength and endless kindness! Her impact lives on in every student she believed in and every life she helped shape! May her memory forever be a blessing and may her loved ones find comfort in the deep love and respect held for them by so many! ❤️
