Martin Jingi Tohara's Obituary
Martin Jingi Tohara, 98, of Honolulu, passed away on June 27, 2015. He was born in Kalopa on Hawaii Island. Martin was a retired Sales Representative for Lien Chemical Company and a Veteran of the 100th Battalion, 442nd RCT.
He is survived by sister, Jennett Hanayo Tohara Tada; nieces and nephews; sister in-laws, Carole and Kimiyo Tohara, Sheri H. (Alvin) Takeshita, Barbara N. Higa and Grace Pilor; brother in-laws, Dr James H. (Inga) and Roy Higa; mother in-law, Fumi Higa; preceded in death by wife, Dorothy C. Tohara; brother, Alvin (Helen), James Jinho and Horrace Hiroshi Tohara; sister, Beatrice Shizuko (Jack) Miyashiro.
Visitation: 11:00a.m.-12:00p.m., Monday, August 3, 2015 at Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel
Service: 12:00p.m.
Inurnment: 3:00p.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific
Attire: Casual
