Mary Yoneko Danley's Obituary
Mary Yoneko Hiromoto Danley born 12/15/1932 in Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on 7/2/2018 in Murrieta, California. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Robert Danley of nearly 36 years, her parents Tsukumo & Masa Hiromoto, her sister Irene Pate and brothers George Hiromoto, Harry Hiromoto and Tom Hiromoto. Mary was survived by her daughters Lisa Waller (Husband Rick) and Jodie Rivera (Husband Anthony) and her 3 grandchildren. Also her brother Warren Hiromoto (Wife Karen), her sister Ellen Hiromoto, 6 nephews and 3 nieces, and many Great nieces and nephews.
Mary graduated from McKinley High School in 1951. She traveled extensively around the world, and was baptized under the Christian Faith in Tasmania. She married her husband Bob in 1977 and inherited two daughters. Mary was a Barber by trade, but ended up owning her own landscaping business and doing work all over the island of Oahu. She also as a driver for a Japanese company and would take out of town guest sight seeing when visiting the island. She and her husband Bob retired in 2009 and moved to Bourne, Texas where they lived between their two daughters on the east and west coasts. They enjoyed living there and remodeling the home they bought. They ended up leaving Texas due to health problems in 2013 and Mary lived out her days being cared for by some wonderful people in a memory care unit close enough to her youngest daughter that they were able to visit often. Mary passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of July 2, 2018 after suffering years from dementia. There will be a private service on September 22nd at 11 a.m.at Hawaiian Memorial Park and after the family will meet at the Family Haka.
