Melvin "Mel" W.S. Chow, 73, of Honolulu, passed away on September 15, 2015. He was born on September 13, 1942 in Honolulu to Richard W.C. Chow and Alice K.Y. Ng. Mel was the Owner and President of Mel W.S. Chow and Associates; past President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Duck Doo Society; past Chairman of the Honolulu Liquor Commission; former Tennis Coach at St Andrew's Priory and a member of Sounds of Aloha Chorus.
He is survived by wife, Paula J. Chow; son, Richard "Benny" B.W.K. (Teresa) Chow; daughters, Ruth (Don) Wolfe, Romney A.L. (Tim) Bitanga and Shana M.J. Chow; grandchildren, Cassandra, Brianna and Kiana Wolfe, Nicholas, Branden, Taylor and Carly Bitanga, Jacqueline, Aubrey and Laila Chow; sister Alvina Gadeberg; preceded in death by brother, Steven W.L. Chow.
