omg! I cannot believe this, dear sweet Mikey! When saw an obit, I called and left a msg and texted, No answer, but then I figured you were busy, and it did sometimes take a while for you to reply. That stuff is still on my phone. There were other people with the same name, so I hoped it would not be You on this page. I kept trying, and now you see, I had not given up hope, but am sad as well.Yet, it is good to see your face,
I can still picture your twinkly eyes, that grin, your laugh, your cut off jeans shorts and famous tennies and how you loved your blue truck! Your ferocious hugs, and joyful spirit. I can remember also your kind heart and looking for a dolphin(?) for someone in your family that loved them. Your patience and kindness, gentle heart and wisdom with those you worked with and your love of prime rib. I wanted to take you to a place that you would have loved! I know how much you loved the albums of the Mamas and the Papas and when I asked you how you knew a group so before your time, you told me that your mom used to play their albums when she vacuumed.
I wish, dear one, that you are at peace, and i know you are laughing at us and trying to comfort us for being so sad at your untimely departure. I am so sorry to hear this very sad news. You are all in my thoughts as you go through what I am sure is a very challenging time. I too have very fun memories of my time spent with some of my favorite cousins Michael and Brian (they are inseparable in my memory) in both Charlevoix and San Diego. The times that stand out the most are going to the Heart concert at the Castle and laying on the beach late at night in San Diego. As I watched Michael's memorial so many of other's memories rang true to me, his great laugh, his full on hug, the way he always made you feel special, his knack for making any event fun, and the constant smile and twinkle in his eye. I hope Dawn, Ed, Kathleen, Brian and Kara as well as the rest of the family feel the love pouring in from afar! He sure will be missed.

Michael was a good and gentle man and is missed by many here at Chateau Waikiki where he worked on our behalf for several years. We miss you Michael and we pray for God's comfort and grace for your family at this most difficult time. God Bless,

My deepest sympathy to Mike's Ohana on the loss of Mike. He always knew when you needed a laugh and would say something to get you to laugh or at least smile. I got to know Mike when he was the manager of Waikiki Shore, where he worked tirelessly to maintain the building and would always share a smile, It was sad when he left Waikiki Shore and even sadder to hear he has left us. He was a very caring person and will be deeply missed but will live on in our hearts with all the good memories. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Mike was not the most talkative person, but when it came to the Chateau Waikiki, that was his main focus of his attention. He was always very attentive to all of Association's needs and demands and was well loved by the residents and staff alike. I always saw him around and about the Hobron area, biking on a Biki bike, walking around Hobron Lane, he loved our neighborhood, much like we who live there do. He had just bought a unit in a nearby building so he could be close to us. Thanks Mike, for your dedication to our building and sticking with us during the good and bad times, I will miss you and on behalf of the Association thank you for all that you have done for us.
