Michael Coleman O'Shea
Age 85, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on January 3, 2024, after a brief illness. He was born on November 15, 1938, in Portsmouth, England, son of Mary P. (Foley) O'Shea (deceased) and John R. O'Shea (deceased). He and his family immigrated to the United States in 1948 and settled in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Michael graduated from St. Anselm's College in Manchester, New Hampshire in 1961 and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts in 1965. He entered The United States Air Force and served at Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu from 1965 to 1968. For over 40 years, he operated in dentistry in Honolulu. After retirement from dentistry, he became a Real Estate Agent. He was active in The Elks Club and a longtime member of The Waialae Country Club.
Michael was known to all as a kind and gentle man. Quick with a smile, he enjoyed life to the fullest. He was an avid golfer, accordion player, and fisherman.
Michael is survived by his wife of 50 years, Noriko O'Shea, several nieces and nephews, and many, many friends. Funeral services, at his wishes, will be private.
