Milton Chew Yuen Tam's Obituary
Milton C. Y. Tam, age 78, passed peacefully away in his sleep on Wednesday, September 11, 2024
at 8:35 am. Milton is survived by his wife of 52 years, Cynthia Tam along with his sons, Michael (Michelle) and Milton (Juanita) Tam as well as his daughter, Charmaine Tam. He is also survived by his siblings, Erainia “Tammy” Watanabe (Larry), Dwain Tam (Karen), Wanda Nakamura (Paul), and his sister-in-law, Corinne Tam (Calford Tam, Deceased).
Milton loved to ride his motorcycle from the age of 20 to well into his seventies. He retired after
10 years as a maintenance staff at Mililani Town Association, and prior to that as a journeyman meat cutter and delivery driver at Virg Davidson Chudacoff for over 20 years.
When he was not working, he enjoyed fishing and crabbing with his brothers and children. He was also a league bowler for Barbers Point Bowling Alley. As the years went by, he came to learn and enjoy playing golf and became an avid golfer. He would golf every weekend and would also travel to Las Vegas for Golf Tournaments.
In 2022, he, with his wife and daughter, moved to Vegas to be closer to his sons.
He passed away in Vegas, in his home with wife and family present.
