Nancy "Popo" Ngit Hoon Yee's Obituary
Nancy "PoPo" Ngit Hoon Yee, 91, of Honolulu, passed away on June 6th, 2016 in Mililani. She was born on June 6th, 1925 to See Hop Lee and Alice (Lau) in Honolulu. Nancy was founder and co-owner of Lanakila Marine Service. Nancy loved her slot machines in Vegas and was a member of the Fremont Hall of Fame.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Say Chung “Chungy” Yee; and sisters, Elsie (Eugene) Won, Shirley (Wallace) Leong and Marion (Edwin) Oka. She is survived by daughter, Rosemary (George) Makio; sons, Breighton "JuJu" (Elaine) and Everett (Esther) Yee; grandchildren, Geordie Ann (Bertrand) Akuna, Gordean Nan (Todd) Tavares, Barbara Joy (Caryn Okinaga), Edward (Juliann), Triste and Bronson Yee; great grandchildren Tamara Tavares, Taz Tavares and Kiano Leckie; brother, Donald (Carolyn) Lee; sisters, Fanny (Moses-predeceased) Ho, Annie (Raymond) Kwan, Betty (David) Yap and Beatrice (Richard) Ing.
