Miss you Newton, only you know how much. We were looking forward to taking culinary and other classes with you, going to discount movies, eating at our favorite restaurants, learning how to fix almost everything electronic or automotive, and just growing old together. You fought an insurmountable battle with grace, courage, and determination.
Thank you for repairing/installing our numerous computers, TV and sound systems, appliances, fixtures, cars. The best part was not what you did, but the time we got to spend together during the tasks. Thank you also for being my baby brother, my first patient (really victim), and partner in crimes and misdemeanors. I wouldn’t have had as much fun growing up without you, playing in the house and yard, fighting imaginary enemies, building forts and teepees, climbing our mango tree, throwing mud pies against our white walls, competing for TV stations, and numerous other adventures. (That spoon that you bent on my head in retaliation really hurt).
Hope you are dancing like you did at the Gypsy Kings concert. Hope you are at peace and happy with our relatives, friends, pets that went before you to the great beyond. Save us a place next to you where we can share the best miso soup ever in heaven.
Until we meet again. Jan, Cat, Hachi, Stormy, Boo-boo & Kip
