In Loving Memory of Patricia Katherine Perry Whittle December 29, 1929 - January 8, 2016
Born on December 29, 1929, Pat passed away peacefully at her home in Ha'iku, Maui on January 8, 2016 at the age of 86, surrounded by loved ones and under Hospice Care.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kirkland James Whittle, Sr. and son Kirkland James (Sharon alive) Whittle, Jr.
Parents Joseph Aguiar Perry and Jessie Hou Chung Young Perry, brothers Harold "Tootie" (Hilda) Perry, Alexander "Alex" (Ethelyn alive) Perry, Douglas "Dougie" (Violet alive) Perry and Robert "Bob" (Blossom alive) Perry.
Pat survived by her beloved daughters; Rori-Jean Hailauala (Jowin) Keomaka - Honolulu, O'ahu, Donalee Kala (Chauncey) Pang - Honolulu, O'ahu, Jamie Moanikeala (Aaron) Whittle-Wagner - Ha'iku, Maui; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
A graduate of Roosevelt High School Class of 1947, Pat went to work shortly before graduation for Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and retired as the Personnel Specialist in 1986, 40 years of service. A professional hula dancer known as "Leilani" and loved bowling, Pat continued work in the clerical field before heading to Nuuanu YMCA and retired also from the YMCA 1999 to move to Maui to live out her 'glory years' with her beloved husband Kirkland.
A Celebration of Life and Mass will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016.
Visitation at 1:00 p.m. followed by Mass at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Church, Makawao, Maui.
A Celebration of Life and Grave Site service will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016.
Visitation at 9:30 a.m. followed by Services at 10:30 a.m. at Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel with grave site services to follow at Diamond Head Memorial Park Cemetery.
