Phyllis Q Yee's Obituary
Phyllis Quon Yee, 84, of Honolulu, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013. She was born to the late Margaret Choy and Joseph Bung Sun Quon on June 24, 1929 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is a graduate of Maryknoll High School. Phyllis was a benefits specialist at Dole Cannery for almost 50 years and finally retired when Dole closed their doors. Her aloha was to lend a helping hand in any way to everyone she know and met. She is survived by husband Joseph (Joe); son Joseph "Sonny" II (Christine), Joycelyn (Ben)Kim and Jo Anne (Michael) and grandchildren Ally, Joey & Cailynn Yee; Kellene & Adam Kim; Kristine, Jonathan (Czarina) and Steven Kegley. Prayer service 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Thursday (9/05) Diamond Head Mortuary. Visitation and lunch 10:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial 12:45 p.m. Diamond Head Memorial Park. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
