Raymond Ramos Bermudez
Raymond and twin brother Peter were born in 1937 in Honolulu, Hawaii, who were raised with 5 other siblings. Their parents were Peter and Alice Bermudez.
Raymond's first marriage was to Linda K. Bermudez and they had a son, Alan Ray (Pono) Bermudez and 3 daughters; twins Sheri Sabalaske, Shelly Carreira and youngest Yvette (Nani) Nanialoha Boteilho; Six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He married Wanda J. Bermudez in 1978, and gained 2 step-daughters; Gerilynn Lee Hozeska and Joy Kimberlee Sutherland.
He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a civilian government
employee for the Hawaii Air National Guard as the Air Technician Supervisor for the C-130 Hercules Cargo Airplanes at Hickam Air Force Base. He retired in 1997 and has since been fondly remembered as "Berma" by fellow guardsmen.
Raymond cherished his family and lived most of his life in Windward Oahu. He loved boating, camping, fishing, traveling, playing slot machines in Las Vegas and was a football fan of the L.A. Rams. A loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend, Raymond will be missed and forever loved by all who knew him.
