Ricardo S. "Ricky" Rafanan, 85, of Honolulu, a retired The Cab taxi driver and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Maunalani Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Lihue, Kauai. He is survived by wife Florence "Rafie"; daughter Deanna "Dana" Sniffen; brother Joseph "Joe" Tadita; sister Mary Visaya; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation 5:00 p.m. Wednesday (8/21) Diamond Head Mortuary; service 6:00 p.m. Burial 11:00 a.m. Thursday (8/22) Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire.
