Rodney "Rocky" G.M. Komatsu's Obituary
Rodney "Rocky" G.M. Komatsu, 69, was embraced in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 12th, 2016. Rocky retired from Kaimuki Christian Church as a Membership Minister and as a MWR Director for the Coast Guard and Barbers Point.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Sharon; daughters, Barbi (David) Streeter, Christi (Brandon) Young, Jaimi (Anthony) Liu, and Miki; hanai sons, David Lum and Nelson Lee; grandchildren, Kai, Hezekiah, Zoe, Mei, Taylor and Hunter; father, Michael; brother, Michael (Danni); sisters, Jeanie (Michael) Yano, Rhonda (John) Murray and Brenda (Jim) Lee; numerous nieces, nephews and home stay daughters from Japan.
A Celebration will be on August 27th, 2016 at Waialae Baptist Church, 1047 21st Ave., Honolulu, beginning at 5:00p.m. with visitation at 4:00p.m..
