Sarah "Darling" Leialoha Akana, 93, of Honolulu, passed away on May 8th, 2016 in Honolulu. She was born in Honolulu, on September 17th, 1922 to Yau Khan Lin Kee Tom and Julia K. (Hipa). Sarah was a retired Custodian from Farrington High School; she was very active in the Senior Programs at Palama Settlement and Lanakila; she was a member of the Pentecostal Faith Assembly.
She is survived by sons, Daniel L. (Marla), Alan J. (Susan), Reginald K. (Cathy), Leonard J. and Anthony K. Akana; daughter, Molly L. Bataluna; 24 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; brother, Jesse Tom.
