Hi Sachie, so sorry to hear about Stanley's passing. I didn't even see it in the paper. :( Well, I can't tell you that the pain will end cause your memory will not let you. You just live one day at a time. But in my case when my hubby died, I drank a lot to ease my pain and that did not help either. So, I suggest a good bias therapist to help you sort through things as I had two. It did help me, but the probate thing will finally be done this year, 6 years after his death. That I would not wish on anyone except the Devil himself. I sure hope you don't have to go through any probate proceedings.Sorry for you loss, there's not many words to say to comfort you in a time like this. My Dearest Stan,I will miss you deeply. You are such an important part of my life-the dad I never had. You may not have been my biological father, but you were definately my "dad". I have many fond memeories growing up like when we'd go out to Kailua, lay net, and eat lobster-boil it in the pot right there at the beach. And your amazing kal-bi (secret recipe-glad I have it). You were by my side through all of the most important times of my life-sweet 16 at the Country Club, my graduation, learning how to drive-just to name a few, and had I got married it is you who would have walked me down the aisle. But most importantly, you gave me love and brought happiness to everyone around you. I am so happy that you and Sachie found one another and were able to share a beautiful life together. I was very sorry to hear about your loss. Losing someone we love in death is probably the most distressing thing we can experience. The Bible's description of death as an enemy at 1 Corinthians 15:26 is certainly accurate. But, God's promise at Revelation 21:4 may give you some comfort at this difficult time. There it says - "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Looking forward to a future time when we welcome back those we lost in death to a world free from death and all things that cause pain is a promise from God that we can count on!##imported-begin##Mrs. Seu##imported-end##
