My best friend when I was young, I was so sad when you moved away. I never forgot you ... and I never will.

My heart goes out to your family. I am so very sorry for your loss. Scott was loved and he will be missed. Though it's hard to cope with his passing and the pain can seem unbearable, please remember that you are not alone. Psalm 46:1 says, "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress." Pray to Him for strength. Weep to Him when there are no words. He will help you get through this most difficult time (Isaiah 41:10) because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Scott, Rest in Peace my dear friend, many special memories you and I had when we were young. You are forever in my heart. I send my deepest Sympathies to the Fischer
Family, Chris his brother, Lucille & Peter and Megan.
Love, Marcy
I will hang an empty bird cage in my garden, in memory of you
I will open the door to represent the journey through which your spirit flew
once caged now free,
is what I want my thoughts of you to be
although we are not given the answers to why we're here on earth
and all of us at one time question, since the hour of our birth
our journey's take us every which way, as we strive along
some of us never find the place where we belong,
although we may experience sorrow, pain and grief
it may be comforting to know our time here is brief
our true home is in heaven, our own eternity
where there is no pain or death and together we will be
*I wrote this for my Father who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on July 12th.
To Scott's family, I know your sorrow and I'm so sorry. I met Scott (and Chris) at Topanga Plaza Skating rink when he was about 14. Scott was actually my first boyfriend, so long ago. Please take care of yourselves.
Sincerely, Carole Cady
Not only did I lose a friend and roommate, the world lost a great soul. But I believe he is in a better place. God bless you and keep you, Stephen

My brother was a good man, brother, son and father. He left us too early, but it is not us to ask why. His last years were happy and I was fortunate to be able to spend time with him recently.
His body did not want to cooperate. He never complained too much about his pain, but it was obvious he struggled to just do the basic things. We had a wonderful 2 weeks together recently and I will cherish those memories forever.
He left us in his sleep clean and sober and did his best to give back to the program that saved his life and gave him one at the same time. Attending his home group "Solutions" over the last week has given me comfort and I thank those who knew him for being there for him and in turn him trying to be there for those who still struggled with the disease of Alcoholism.....
I will miss him.....
I think a lot of people will. He touched many lives in his own unique way....
You will always be in my heart....
your big brother,
Chris
